Leitch is nearing
three years in the Director's chair at Kansas City Museum. Under his
tenure, the Museum has expanded education programs, strengthened the
role of the Museum Friends, and forged scholarly partnerships with many
regional historians and educators. He has edited more than 12 publications
released by the Museum in 2007-08. Find out more at kcmuseum.com

In 2007 Leitch was appointed
to the Johnson County Public Art Commission. He
is serving a three-year term assisting to launch the "1% for Art"
program in
one of the nation's wealthiest counties.
In 2006 Leitch was
appointed to the Board of Directors of the Black Archives of Mid-America
in Kansas City. He brings expertise in collections management and oversight,
and serves as chair of the Collections committee.
